SELF-ESTEEM

SELF-ESTEEM

Self-esteem is the image an individual has of himself. It affects participation in collective discussion. Members of a group generally appreciate the company and the ideas of individuals who have good selfesteem, but the latter should not be excessive!

EFFECTIVENESS

EFFECTIVENESS

Evaluating one’s self-efficacy means being able to accurately estimate one’s own ability to solve problems. In case of a group work, unexpected events are common. They can generate stress and put the lucidity to the test. To solve these problems, it is important that the participants know how to propose and defend solutions that they have justly evaluated as relevant.

BELONGINGNESS

BELONGINGNESS

Group belonging is the propensity to feel part of a team and to mobilize its efforts for collective success. When one feels part of a group, one makes general success a personal success, which increases the motivation and pushes to do well.

EXTRAVERSION

EXTRAVERSION

Extraversion represents the ease with which an individual interacts with others and communicates with the outside world. Within a group, extraverted members tend to express their ideas with pleasure and participate actively in the discussion.

AGREEABILITY

AGREEABILITY

The agreeability is the propensity of each person to cooperate and to be in agreement with others. This trait is particularly important in the social interactions and guarantees cohesion in the group.

NEUROTICISM

NEUROTICISM

People prone to neuroticism tend to keep turning over negative thoughts. They are then animated with feelings such as anger or anxiety. When these traits are marked, they find it difficult to maintain social relationships that are enjoyable and effective.

CONSCIENTIOUSNESS

CONSCIENTIOUSNESS

Conscientiousness refers to the ability of an individual to plan and execute the various stages of a project without deviating from it. Conscientious individuals demonstrate reliability and rigor when assigned tasks
